“Where Old Hollywood Lived and New Community Lives On”
MCE is more than parties (though we throw great ones). These are the programs where neighbors roll up their sleeves and make a difference.
COMING SOON ...
MCE has the opportunity to join in an upcoming unique community booster club for our firefighters. Neighborhood organizations “adopt” their local fire station — Firehouse Friends — building camaraderie through friendly station-vs-station competitions at events like the Toy Drive and Golf Tournament. Watch for details.
More Ways We Show Up
MCE placed in the TOP 10 of Palm Springs neighborhoods donating 167.5 pounds + $500 to the ONE-PS Food Drive Challenge supporting The LGBTQ Center's Community Food Bank.
Walk the neighborhood with firefighters and safety pros — spotting hazards, sharing prevention tips, and getting to know the crews who protect us.
Just moved in? Our Welcome Kit introduces you to the neighborhood, its history, its events — and your new neighbors.
Short-term teams for specific projects: events, communications, beautification, history. Give an hour or lead a project — every skill helps.
A proposed network of four book-sharing boxes across MCE — take a book, leave a book, meet a neighbor at the corner.
Our resident-funded blade signs mark the neighborhood’s corners — and our upgraded event road signs (with QR codes!) make sure you never miss what’s happening.
Watch the Corners
Our event road signs are getting an upgrade: durable iron frames, bigger type you can read from a passing car, and a QR code that takes you straight to event details and RSVPs. Old Hollywood style, modern convenience.
