OCTOBER 25, 2026 4P-6P
Our most famous tradition. Neighbors compete for the golden spoon; everyone else competes for a second helping. Ol’ Blue Eyes lived three blocks away — we cook like he might still drop in.
Each Spring
Our yearly gathering with direct access to the people who run your city — Palm Springs council members, police, and fire leadership share updates on safety, response times, vacation-rental enforcement, and neighborhood priorities. Board of Advisors elections are held here too: any resident can run, and write-in candidates are welcome on the day. Light refreshments, big civic energy.

mini-libraries are here
MCE has helped sponsor five Mini-Libraries throughout our neighborhood. One is already up at Ruth Hardy Park. Book-sharing boxes are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day and are freely accessible to all. By providing greater book access, communities are stronger and it can influence literacy outcomes. So, check them out. Help yourself to a book, or leave one of your own for others to enjoy.
Beyond the Neighborhood
What else is happening around us — live from the Coachella Valley Events Hub, maintained by the Palm Springs Hospitality Association. Handy for planning around big weekends (or joining them).
